Have you ever Googled something like “Pizza” and noticed the top area of your results reserved for Pizza Restaurants near you? This is called “Google Places”, and the best part? It’s free! This is like the yellow pages for the internet, if you have a decent website, you can’t afford to not be included.
It quite literally displays as “MAP FOR PIZZA”, sounds like where I want to be. Some of these can be a little time consuming to work through, but adding your business to these listings is a huge step in maximizing your online exposure. If you’re computer savvy, it should take about an hour, if not you’d better plan for 2-3 hours of data entry. I listed these by order of importance. If you only do one, make sure you do Google.
